Im Memoriam I’m increasingly convinced that the primary purpose of the Department of Homeland Security is to protect American citizens from a surprise attack by the forces of logic.  If you ask any security expert worth a damn, they’ll tell you that you either hire a full time bodyguard, or you don’t hire a bodyguard at all.  A part time body guard just announces to the world that you’re important enough to attack but not important enough to protect year-round.
