HistPhil LOLz - Sartre and Heidegger Edition (Stockholm Syndrome) The irony, of course, is that Sartre’s devotion to Heidegger, despite Heidegger’s vehement renunciations of it and despite the ‘68 Generation’s resolute disavowal of Sartre, ended up making Heidegger a “must-read” philosopher in French intellectual circles, thus initiating decades of masturbatory semi-coherence.  Thanks, Sartre.
